Dude, you trying to tell me that you are the REAL Pedrosa???

I find that hard to believe ... coz if you were - surely your time would be too filled by having 'relations' with lots of hot brolly dollies - also SVs would be a bit lame for a man of Pedrosa's pocket and calibre

What’s the story here dude! ?

I nod at most people, unless im riding in total concentration on those lovely B roads Although ive noticed people who think they're Rossi don't bother nodding back, as well as people on big cruisers.

Of course that sort of thing is much easier for Jonny Foreigner, being on the wrong side of the road. Maybe UK spec bikes could have the throttle switched to the left bar so we could enjoy the same freedom of expression? I particularly enjoy that thumb and little finger 'hang tough' sign that tourists on rented Harleys do in America...

Here in dear old Blighty I nod at least and wave if I'm particularly chirpy, even at BMW riders coz they're not all bad. Used to be one.

I'm sure Beemer riders are a world better than Beemer 'drivers'!

Most often it's a left wave, if its a bike I pass it's kinda the same. If I get passed then it's a right foot thing.

I really don't understand some of the posts in this thread (and similar threads before it). Perticularly the ones that say you don't nod/acknolwedge some bikers because of what they're riding.

As I've said, it could be that they're riding that because their main bike is off the road (accident, service, needs repairing etc).

Also, if you wouldn't acknowledge another biker because they're a "chav on a scooter" does that also mean you wouldn't stop to help out if they had an off? By god I hope society hasn't come to that!

Even Jen will nod/wave at bikers when she's driving the car! (and she doesn't even know how to ride a bike, let alone have a licence) Most probably don't notice her (I know I wouldn't) but that's besides the point.

I wave, nod and or flash the head light high beam at them all apart from chav clad scooters. Sometimes get a response but more do not return the signal than do round here. When I lived in the midlands nearly all did.

Very rarely in rush hour traffic in London but pretty much always out in the sticks.
