Well yes, no ammount of fuse checking will recharge a battery.....

i put the battery on charge before i left for work today, so just waiting to finish and get home to try.
i am 100% that i need new battery but the pop came as soon as tried to start her up, so i turned it on, it primed, then clutch in pressed the button and POP. . . .

Cheers Dooodes, bikes back up and running just had to swap the main fuse and charge the battery, your all amazing thank you all

Jambo, I dunno about you, but he was all set on buying a battery. How much do they go for again? Half the cost of a battery would buy a couple of beer tokens at least

(only messing Lyle).

same happened to me on a curvy would not start not long after i bought it lack of use from the previous owner/original battery jumped it to get it home, again at home would not start, nothing completly dead not even a sound from the ignition, new battery from dingbro half an hour later heh presto never had a problem year and half on change or charge nothing to lose at most 20 quid (always start with the easiest problem)!!!!!!!
