If it's a modicum of comfort you're after, then you'll have to go for the Honda.
I love the idea of the Triumph, especially the 675 triple motor, but when I sat on one at the NEC Bike Show last autumn it was excrutiatingly uncomfortable, with all my weight on my wrists. It has no storage space, either. Even the toolkit has been cut down to about one allen key, apparently, so you'd have to wear a bum bag, or have something on the rear seat or tank, whenever you go out to hold phone, keys, wallet, etc. I'm sure the Honda will have a little storage space on it.

THe 675 is notourious for using a lot of oil.
Have heard of one or two blow ups where people have not kept a check on it. |

As previously stated it is all about the comfort factor, the RR looks comfy and i know the 675 really isnt over long distances, saying that the 675 in red is my dream bike so. . . . still 675

675
That is what I was going to get, I had heard about reliability problems but figured as I do low mileage, a lot problems had been sorted by now plus it would be under warranty it wouldn't be an issue for me. This was until I realised I could get a Jap 750 or 1000 for the same money... They are over priced in my opinion, I'd want to see a price drop what with a new model due next year? |

based on those two pics, gotta be the 675,,,, how sexy does that look,,, better than a 916 ?!?!?
Anyhoo, the CBR pictured is not the '07 one, and not in its best colour. Put an all black CBR up against that red 675 and its a bit closer, based on looks ony of course !?!?!? My 2 pennies...... if it were my money, 675 if it were a weekend toy, and CBR if it were used for more............ which is why the cbr ((in all black) is on my "next bike" wish list .. ![]() |
