Probably not camping for me, but pop down for the day & then back.

No doubt I'll get hassle for not spending time with the family if I take another full weekend away (unless she has something come up that balances things out nicely).

You also missed Luckypants.

EDIT: Hovis is a maybe?? So when will he pick up these damned hotgrips then??

The plan is...

Friday: arrive, small social event, go to pub, not drink too much...

Saturday: go for a ride.. meet up with others etc... get back, another social event, the alcoholics amongst us can drown their sorrows.. not in the lake though...

Sunday, go home for those who wish too.. I may take monday off and go home then, which leaves sunday for recovery, or another mini-bike ride....

will see how many people are going to attend in total, and I may require that back marker at this rate...

I make it 8 definites for saturday's ride. We found on the North Wales run that a faster & slower group naturally emerged (we had 7 bikes). One of the faster group acted as a marker and waited for the slower group. As soon as they were in sight the marker shot off.

A tail ender who knew the route was behind the slower group just in case things went pair-shaped.

Worked nicely it did.

What time are you thinking of starting the ride on the Saturday?
