Bad luck.Sounds like damage is easily repaired though.

Sorry to hear this bud. At least youre OK.
I had the same problem with getting the allen bolts out on my gixer for the bungs. Even with the right size allen key they would not budge, you need the correct socket attachment. I ended up getting the dealer to do them although for the cost I could have purchased the right tool for the job. |

I think i am going to do exactly that mate, i am going to book into JHS in Bristol to do it. Only because i want them to set my suspension up properly to me. Ill get it done when i have fitted the new bits to my bike. out of suriosity what would be the right tool?? as i have seen tourqe wrenches but not ones with allen key attachments. |

Neio, at most good motorfactors, you can buy an allen key set in a socket. This will allow the use of a breaker bar to undo the bolt and a torque wrench for tightening it. They are about 7 quidish IIRC. This is a 12mm key in a 3/8th drive.

![]() Prices seem quite reasonable, especially as someone suggested that to repair the panel could be 150quid. You could try other places for a cheaper replica sticker. |
