Narrowly missed out on a beautiful high level carbon Devil exhaust a month or so ago!

Hhmm, carbon on a black bike eh... Is there no problem with carbon cracking?

Right I've been going through page after page of "You and your bike" thread and I think I've narrowed it down to either:

Devil Magnum High Level Carbon - Looks nicer than low level I reckon.

Or

The Remus Revolution(?) High Level Carbon - Also looks lovely.

Any immediate downside to high-level? I don't intend to carry any honkies on my bike.

Bear in mind my bike is black and fully faired. I'm hoping it won't be too black with carbon exhaust.

If I had the money I'd have an akrapovic system or end can... only had 150 quid spare at the time so I bought a beowulf end can - made in england and sound rude as feck. Removable baffle and lovely popping when the revs drop from 4 to 3 thousand in 3rd gear

The 2 you got are fine if:

1. your not paying and
2. you rate looks highly!

Carbon can crack or vibrate itself to pieces in rare cases but these 2 should be fine as they're tried and tested and offer good quality. Inspect the cans whenever your cleaning your bike, any probs, give the manufacturer a call!

Regards

Thanks for the advice Phil, however, after making some calls, and doing some things for some people (possible lie that last bit) I'll be going with the full akropovic system

I can't stop grinning and the guys working opposite me probably think there's something wrong with my head.
