Out of the 2007 600's I have ridden on track R6, 675 and GSXR (bikes were stock), the GSXR was my least favourite, but for the reasons why everyone loves them. I found it less focused than the R6 or 675 but in many ways easier to ride quickly. I also think that's why they are the 600 of choice fr the road (less focused, more comfortable ride). However, it just wasn't really exciting enough next to the other 2. I'd love to try an 07 CBR. Kwaks on the other hand, I have no interest in!

From what I've read it's like the 06 but with more midrange - I rode the 06 and it's good, but not as "exciting" as the GSX-R 600 because it's got a more linear range - the GSX-R gives you that thrill when it takes off over ~8krpm, the CBR was just....going...all the time.

Handling wise it was fine and I'm not good enough to be able to pick holes in one or another's handling, when looking at the SS600s anyway.

Strangely me neither. Cant tell you why though. Well maybe its that they only really do IL4's for me. Oh and the lack of any track success for erm... a LONG time.

the kawasaki's are very track focused, my mates got a 636 and loves it to bits, long distance its a wrist killer tho, the gixer 6 is very soft and comfortable compared to that.

Agreed, which is odd as that doesn't help them on the track.

I asked my (now) friend who is the engine technician for the Kwak Moto GP what had changed since the last race. He said "No comment".
