Ahh... the rear can go wherever it wants, as long as I know where the front is I am happy.

Pity about the front though, I found it had rather a tendency of going rather skyward if your pillion wasn't light weight.

Just throw yourself more to the front like I do mate, helps a treat.

To be fair with the g/f on the back it was fine. It was only ever a problem when I took a heavy pillion (heavier than me).

Yup same here. With MYC, it's fine, add her packing for a year at uni and it does go a little bit light at the front. Same with my mate on the back whos about 15 stone.

Sounds like it's good with big loads then, other than pillion. My favorite trick at the moment when I go campning with college is to have a 40kg rucksack on my back, i'm 60kg, people wonder how I do it on a cbr 125, i don't tell them i have it resting on the back seat, and tighten the straps as I get up. Also found out today that the local bike dealer is doing £400 cashback, pays for the bike and then insurance , just hope I can get everything in in time

We've had a fair bit on the back before, even a whole load of food shopping, which was interesting

I love being pillion on the SV, does wonders for my legs lol!

My mrs thinks the SV's seat is fantastic! Its gel and ample for her lovely (ample but gorgeous) bottom. She prefers it size wise to my former GS500 bench seat with combined sponge filling.

Much more comfy for her and she likes being leant into me more.
