I only wear it in winter, in summer I wear leathers. Leathers are not going to have enough room underneath them for an INFLATED airbag so I doubt that will ever be developed

Is it resetable?
yeah, just buy another cartridge for £1.78

the videos I saw of my product showed them falling off a horse not falling off a bike because when you fall off a horse the horse doesn't fall over & crash - maybe that's the same thing here. I wouldn't like to hit a brike wall at 70, but just falling off at 70 & sliding should be fine. .... touch wood Fri 13th & all that

I also don't think it's practical. You could forget its attached to the bike, and when you get up you would puff up lke a blowerfish.
In over a year of use I never have exactly as you suggest. It can take a fair pull - which reminds you - before it inflates. & anyway so what? doesn't take much to reset & provides a comedy moment

If it can save lives then it is good but making it compulsory is not really on.

This jacket wouldn't have helped me on my off, I landed on all fours and slid on my hands and chest, injury cause when I landed. Not unless it has a rocket jet that hovers you above the ground which slow reduces in pressure gently placing you back down. It will work in 60% of cases I think which is better than death or life changing injury.

Price should be alot lower than that, gimic at the mo ain't it. This time next year will be half the price and all you ugly lot will be sporting them ..... be a new generation of posts..................

Thought you said to reset it it needs a cartridge costing £1.78 or something extortionate, I couldn't cope with that, what a waste!

That's exactly what I responded to the BBC website. It annoys me so much the shoddy journalism. It will save lifes if it is in common use. Making it compulsory won't save a single life if no one starts using it.

then why would it not have helped you it gives you padding to your chest, which I understand is exactly what you need err, I mean needed

that's exactly what an airbag does - the gently lowering you to the ground, not the rocket bit

dream on. This was being sold by Spidi & IXS in 2000. I bought mine in June 2007 for less than £100. It's only going to be sold for what they can get away with, do your homeworj and buy it for a reasonable amount

Stu, the injuries were to my arm/shoulder when I initially landed on my elbow pushing my arm upwards and snapping it, the attempt of tryin to rip my breasts off by sliding on them caused me no injury, only a little grazing but I like my scar shows I have character now LOL (scars not to my boobs by the way, only my hip LOL)

Proved I have my own airbags dont need to buy a jacket for the front.
