My insurance company has never asked for my restriction certification.

Only if they are low on pressure. Whats the difference to being on the road?

The bike has got a scorpion street extreme stubby end can.
Will the can make my Dyno go over 33bhp.
or will the ECU make the bike 33bhp no matter what you do to it ?
Im 90% sure it wont matter, its the fueling that makes the main difference, just changing an exhaust is likely to have VERY little effect even on a full power bike

Have to admint that H + R insurance is the only place thats quoted me under 1000 pounds the next cheapest was 1400 just Third party then the next was all 1900- 2500 !!!!(MCE) All the major bike insurers wanted over 2000

oh dear.... H&R insurance... mmh... good luck.. .and get that certificate sooner rather than later... they gave me 7 days to come up with mine.. gave me 2 days before i got a letter thru the post saying my insurance had been cancelled and i had paid them and i am still trying to get my money out of them... do hope you have a better experience than i did with them!! gone to swinton now, and no certificate requested......

As far as I'm aware, I didn't show any proof of restrction and I'm with Devitt, nor was I asked. A friend has a ZX636 and hes 18, he is with Bennetts and restricted to 33bhp.

It may be because you have a claim, then again if I crash I have no proof of restriction but its definatly in.

£365 for my TPO, 1 years ncb and no points.
And live in a small village, so the risk factor was down for getting it nicked etc(touch wood).

Another vote for Express if you haven't already tried them, very reasonable prices and good with modifications as well.
