Heres a novel idea...how about an SV!!!!

Seeing what size of machine you're after the SV comes as a thousand too you know and they are great bikes.

or am i the last person on the SV forum that actually still likes SVs? lol.

you know I loved my naked curvy but it did feel very cramped and after my trip to Wales with Kate ridding pillion we both thought we could do with back transplants..

As for the SV1000, everyone seems to agree that the fuel consumption is really bad. I might be recruiting people for the Middle East but none of them has so far agreed to subsidise my fuel

I'm afraid not. There's lots of stuff about high maintenance costs but I've read a few threads on here saying it's tosh and not particularly different to any main dealer's prices. That of course is if you got your servicing done at a main dealers.

For fuel economy though you've got to go for an IL4 haven't you?

Apparently the Beemer does 50mpg without any problem and that's a paralel twin..
