Right Folks... Progress!! (about time!)

I'm picking up a 10,000 mile engine from a K6 on Saturday - £500

Then booked into a garage for fitting the following Saturday - Around £250 (Apparently)


So, what do I tell insurance/DVLA?

your name, address and that it has a valid MOT

They dont need to know it has a new engine unless you called them to say it was a right off after you wrecked the first one.

Dunno if DVLA need to know the number stamped on the engine has changed or not, someone will be along shortly who knows for sure.

Mate is there no one near you from the org that can help out with the fitting and save you £250.

Need to change the engine number on the V5.
