Unmarked car with 2 officers in uniform. Same 2 officers seen on another occasion riding marked bikes. Both times they stopped me for traffic offences, what are the chances that they were not traffic officers? Because they certainly didn't "do me" for the full extent on the 1st stop (2nd stop was arguable that I had done anything wrong (except filter faster than them ))

I did say "more likely" to be done, rather than "will always" be done. Some Traffic cops are human (I was one in a previous life) so I guess I ought to give G at least half a point for his original answer, but then I wouldn't want to appear to be nit picking or generous would I.....

On recent evidence, I'd say that you don't always get done to the fullest extent of the law... its mostly a matter of attitude, in that you're equally likely to be able to talk yourself into a higher penalty as a lower one.

What is an interceptor? The copper did say to me, if I had been caught by an/the interceptor I'd be fooked.

That's the intercept special from mad max...

Luckily for you, the ANPR intercept teams aren't in the habit of running bikes off the road, but I guess they operate a different sort of zero tolerance where you were.

I was coming out of Epping High Street, into Thornwood, heading to Harlow where I live.
