ooooo moving i can relate to this one moved so many times over the years i have lost count now.
hence we have learned to not keep junk about, hardly put stuff in the loft as last time we moved the loft alone caused us headaces let alone the rest of the house |

Ed - it's a positive experience, really it is. You're decluttering which all the style gurus say is a good thing. You'll feel better for it!
And it'll save having to do it, or worse having your children do it, when you're too infirm to take control yourself. |

Well we're in. What a nightmare. I feel totally exhausted but am really happy. Just need Drew to do a die-in on the neighbour's grass and it really will feel like home!! We now live in a village called Baschurch in north Shropshire, about 10 miles north west of Shrewsbury. We can hear the cows mooing in the field down the lane, and tonight the owls were going it some
![]() ![]() ![]() Surrounded by boxes - but I lost count of the number of trips to the recycling facilty and to the Severn Hospice charity shop. Still chucking stuff out, too. Peeps, never store crap, if you haven't worn it or used it in the last year, you never will, so be ruthless - I can see that we should have been. Doesn't matter if it was granny's, get rid of it. But we're in!!!!! Bike arrives Monday - it was unrideable cos I've dismanted the back end and I didn't have time to rebuild it before we moved. So the bloke who deals with our container storage took it and put it in our container until I sort out some space in the garage. Very close to Wales here, it's a quick hop up to Ellesmere, then to Overton-on-Dee, down the hill, and mecca awaits ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I still have boxes unpacked from the last move (years ago) in my loft. LOL
Glad you survived Ed! Hope you and the family will love it there!
