Bringing force into disrupute? Twisted logic if police aren't allowed to consume a less harmful drug than booze in a place where it's legal to do so?

Exactly. If it' puff puff pass, and the people refuse to put it out what could the officer realistically do? Just up and leave if they feel that uncomfortable I suppose.

That's a slight different type of example.

Put it this way, a policeman can go to amsterdam, drink booze (drug), come back and he's fine. He could also go to amsterdam, consume weed in one way or another, which would be less damaging to his health, come back and bring the force into disrupute?

What because some politicians decide they don't want to listen to science and medicine and deem something immoral, even in a country where you're allowed to do it. I think the public are smarter than that, who here would judge a police officer for smoking some weed abroad?

I hope they haul themselves in as soon as they've had a bit too much to drink on a rest day.

At a mates house a long time ago, I worked and ridden with him for 6 years before he became a copper. He would smoke at any opportunity.

So we had a few beers and some of his mates turn up. didn't know them from adam, but all his mates I had met in the past were game and we carried on drinking. So I rolls one and gets a right bollocking from my mate. Turns out his mates were all job. Didn't stop one of them shouting to pass it his way.
