Latest developments. Been to watch couple of times and got chatting to people there saying just get in there and enjoy. Also did t/day at cadwell getting both wheels airborn most laps when an old guy who raced classics saw my pics and said I should have a go at racing. Hence I have bit the bullit and am signed up to do my first race at 3 sisters on sat 1st oct. eeek! Just about finished prepping my old srad to acu spec. Waking up worrying so god knows what I will be like next week. Don't want to **** up anyone else as its their last race of season and points are vital to some riders as pre injections also race with steel frames(cbr600s). No doubt I will turn up with no key or boots or something rediculous! wish me luck!!

I think they are the bike of choice, I haven't seen any gsxr srads. Its just what I happened to own as as its practically worthless and I know it inside out I thought why not? Tell him to give me a wide berth as I have only ridden there over 10 year ago on a ccm try out day and fell off! Come have a chat/ calm me down, I am no.321 witha focus estate and trailer. I picked the number from "dusty bin" from tv. lol

My mate was a regular racer with Darby Phoenix about 7 years ago then quit due to finances. He has only just picked it up again and done 2 races were he was 3rd twice.

The bike of choice round 3 sisters is an ER6 or an SV as its so narrow and nagery and the curvys do run in the pre inj.

Oh yeah test day on Friday £30 for two hours open pit lane. It is generally the later on in the day the less on track. You usually need to book though.

I am booked to do the 11-1 and 1-3 sessions to miss rush hour both ways hopefully. Not ridden it since mid july and need to give it shake down since doing all 'acu' mods and race fairing to make sure nowt falls off! Also dont want to be too tired/ stiff for race day and I am on secondhand tyres which need to last both days.
I know your bike bud as I have been to watch last two meets and there aren't that many 250 2 strokes, it looks to go really well.
