In a group of bikes on the road your get big fat fine if your caught together.
An sv ridden properly can stick with big bikes .
You need to ride behind Emma.(Bath Wiggle )
Never left behind on the twisting
On track No idiots pulling out on you.nice big run offs .
And go as fast as you can no points on your licence.
None of my mates have big bikes, they all have 125s. I will often ride out to places and end up meeting other people their who offer me a ride with their group. I don't race, just ride at around 80% of my limit and never over 90%. On roads that I don't know I never push hard.

I know an SV can stick with the big bikes, but not when you get to the straights. Is this emma fast? I don't really get what you're saying sorry.

I would love to ride a track but am worried about binning it and not having a bike to ride to work and stuff. There was a video I saw on youtube where they show you the dangers in real life compared to on a track that's worth watching.. Just found it... 30 seconds and it makes you think..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VruWHHEnZGw

Only if I'm being lazy and not really concentrating or reading the road properly. I prefer to get the braking done beforehand, and get back on the throttle as soon as I'm tipped in. Slow in - fast out.

Emma is progressive and so she is"Brisk".
Has a standard SV curvey. Rides with GSXR 1000 and ZX10's etc.
Find your self a track bike.keep the SV for work and next year your be passing Gixers on corners .No trailing of brakes but powering through corners and have no chicken strips.

Oh fair play, I need to find a group to ride with to be honest... chicken strips aren't everything, you can go round corners faster with less lean. I'm still trying to drag knee. I've been told that i'm about an inch off. Only thing stopping me is that unnatural feeling of entry speed (i recently changed from sport touring to hypersport tyres and the apex speed is massively difference. No point trying to push any harder than I feel comfortable

Fair enough, I don't do it a lot of the time, only when I really want to get going.

Carole Nash rang back. They quoted £1600 TPO. Think i'll pass thanks haha
