I have no idea if lucozade sport improves your performance during exercise and it's unlikely I will ever be in a situation where I would need it. However a bottle before you go to bed after a night out mixed with a resolve is a great way to reduce the severity of your hangover

OJ, something like porridge, friut ect is good the day after the greasy stuff really doesn't fix it, nor drinking coke as it simply raises blood suguar level, pumps caffin through you then you crash it just pronlongs it, beside caffin is a bad idea in that state anyways. Simply booze takes vitimam C out of the body and reduces bone density amongst many things!

Probally drinking a pint of beer, then a pint of water would help too. For the sake of figures, if a pint is 2 units it will take two hours to work through your body so go figure what an all night session would do...

I'm about to do a few hours cycling. I have fueled on a bowl of porridge (not microwave type!) made with virgin coconut oil, handful of raisins, seeds and some desiccated coconut and coffee. Taking lots of water and money for more water. Why would anyone want to substitute the enjoyment of eating a delicious breakfast for a man made, artificial, disgustingly tasting drink full of sugar. Yuck

That wasn't the point of the program, it wasn't suggesting that these drinks were meal replacements, but something you drink during exercise and were they any better than plain water.

I know what the programme was about.
On my ride I will refuel by drinking water and eating oatcakes and bananas!

My version of a refreshing, post workout drink: smoothie, a bit of milk, soda water and ice cubes

Whaaaat? Super wonderful snake oil drinks and 95 quid trainers don't lift your performance to Herculean levels?

Just seeing the faux science in the adverts, (think of make-you-look-younger-cream ads too), shouts that it's not going to do what the subtly not-quite-said claims say it does in the case of 94% of the twenty-six people we asked who said that they thought it might have*.

The only thing I'm surprised about is that anyone is surprised.

*Sequence shortened and some steps omitted - the one you buy is nothing like the one we showed you on the telly.
