Glad I found this thread. Have ordered some Optiglanz for my pipes, and a Beowulf radiator guard. Coooool.

I did clean mine eventually
I'll try to post some pictures up tomorrow if I remember.
Good light and decent sand paper is key to getting it all off. Unfortunately the grand of sand paper I used was a tiny bit too soft and I was restricted to a garage lamp in a garage. Still mighty impressed with how clean the downpipe is now, but it's no where near the quality shine the guys before have got

I have just bought a similar rad guard from Beowulf. How have you fixed it to the rad? Mine has not come with any fixings at all.

Edit Just found out mine is for the N model which will have the bolts in the rad. Mine is a S model with 2 small indents each side where the bolts should go. Beowulf will send me FOC 4 M5x12mm s/s bolts. I assume there is enough thickness in the rad at these points for the bolts, as the rad is essentially the same for both models to start with

Mep, they are the original bolts. The the two alloy end trims off and bolt the Beowolf in it's place.
