its your hard earned cash (or easily earned if your lucky ) so your right to choose your steed, looks nice for what it is, although not my choice. but then I quite fancy a small cc bike for work, maybe even another vespa

Definitely better without the cromosexual finish - black black and more black is a good look.

Enjoy your new bike, despite the fact it's the sort of bike that polarises opinion, if you like it and you want it that's all that matters.

Vive la difference!

Very nice, I too believe that a sportster and an sv go quite well together hence I own both a sportster and an sv, you will have to keep an eye on the paintwork as Harley paint straight to metal without any undercoat and they like to rust!

Thanks, I'll check it out. Although I don't think I have the heart to start hacking away at it just yet. And my ears ring plenty when I get off this thing as it is, really need to start wearing ear plugs.

The shoddy suspension was definitely the first thing I noticed on the Iron and it is without doubt the very first thing I am going to sort out. I've slightly got used to it now, but I'm yet to take in on a lengthy journey and know it will not be comfortable by the end. Thanks for the Hagon advice.

Too true, much fun to be had on both. The dealer chap warned me about the rust issue so I'm keeping a close eye on it. Any rain out though and it will stay nice and sheltered in the garage; means the sv gets to come out and play

That is bloody glorious looking. You're gonna need some cool as funk gear to go with it though!
