It takes him ages to get out of the car. No matter how much of a **** the guy was, if you potentially could be saving his life, get on with it.

Nobs both especially the biker.Pull a prize c0ck stunt like that as a biker you will end up dead sooner rather than later.

It doesn't matter how right you are if you're dead.

The red mist comes down and people decide it's more important to prove a point than to keep safe. Sure the car driver may have done something crazy earlier, or maybe he just has awful lane discipline, but playing with a couple of tons of metal at motorway speeds when you're on a bike is daft. The stakes are way higher for you than him. For similar reasons if I was driving a mini, and an HGV cut me up, I'd kinda let it go...

Agree with most of the posts on this. The biker is a firemans helmet. You could kind of guess the biker was going to be at p1llock by the fact that he has no license plate.

Having said that, I have had the red mist descend a few times on my commute. Really scary afterwards when you realise what a berk you have been.

I referred to a lad in a car as 'young man' at the traffic lights the other week after he asked me why I was shaking my head at him. Gettin' old.

Hehe, that is a good trick. Works even better if they are over about 40.

[edit: Thanks Baron Von Grumble for that one]

think that's where I got it from lol... Almost a carbon copy of the same incident but this kid wasn't street and didn't tell me he could "talk all over me" - just asked me "what's your problem'' after I shook my head at him for trying to block me out while I was filtering. Listen Young Man......

then did it again in Maplins on wednesday last week. Erghhhhhhhh

Yeah. The good bit on the bike is lots of people assume (rightly) that I am the right side of 30 because I ride a sports (to them) bike and the they must be right because they are older. As soon as you say young man they think they've picked a fight with someone who has been biking for decades. Ageism is a wonderful thing sometimes.

Surely the fact you look like Gay Martin gets you a bit of respect, even if the riding doesn't?!
