There are four bays within a reasonable walking distance of my office. I ride past all of them looking for a space big enough for the bike. Normally I get one in the last bay but if I don't I do sometimes go back to one of the others and budge up a scooter or two but only if there was already a gap there.

There is not adequate motorcycle parking in central London and until there is I don't think it is unreasonable to attempt to make the most efficient use of the space that is available. Even if that means stacking a few scooters from time to time

i wouldnt dream of moving another bike \ scooter.. oh, i might give the odd SV a bit of a shove, but they're two a penny these days

Until I saw the way you guys parkin London, I would have said "never move someone else's bike" but then I saw that that'd generally mean not being able to get your bike back out of the parking spaces, so I changed my mind. That bay opposite Denmark Street was mental, about 20 big expensive sports bikes, all actually touching, and on sidestands... Probably seemed a good idea at the time but I've got no idea how you're supposed to get back out.
