I've had one of these fitted to the rear and took around europe. It's never lost traction even in appauling weather (the rain so bad it came upwards) and its the only tyre that inspires such confidence I've lost my chicken strips.

A++++++++++++++++++++.

Also no visual wear with 2,000 miles on them.

How many miles have people been getting out of the z6's?

I'm coming up to 5000 on the original dunlops and looking for a change, the z6 sound the best and I'd like to get similar milage out of them.

Rictus got in excess of 12k on a rear and believe me he's no slow rider.

I had over 11,000 on the Z6's on my SV1000s, probably had 1000 miles left when I swapped to Diablos (as I had some track days coming)

I just changed back from z6's to the bt 010-020 combi because I got a puncture (again) on my rear tyre which wasn't fixable and nobody close enough had any Metz'z for me. I have to say that the instant I rode off with the bt's I thought "I remember this feel" and felt much better about the expense incurred by aforementioned puncture, much nicer!!! Z6's never felt right to me and always felt flat whatever the pressure, probably just a personal thing but I'd rather have a tyre I like and accept the lower mileage.

Thanx for all the above posts (except Chutz)- they helped me make the decision and I ordered a set of Z6s to replace the D207's on my Ducati.

The dealer raved about them (he uses them and swears by them).

Looking forward to see if I notice this "new confidence" thing sweep over me on Thursday.
