that can't be it ... I need MORE ... you got me addicted now.

I've always wanted to supercharge something (car or bike), would love to do that to an SV

Yes seems sensible, that would also reduce stress on rods at same rpm?

Anything which increases the inlet charge temperature is going to increase t2, bringing you closer to the detonation limit which is the point of reducing compression.

Nitrous is very cool stuff (no pun intended ), as with forced induction the massive heat required to boil off the nitrous reduces the charge temperature significantly, meaning on a turbo'd engine the power gains can be stupidly higher than you would expect from the amount of nitrous actually being used.
It's like having a massive intercooler.

Also I've seen it done on a car with a big turbo so it fires a small shot of nitrous activated by throttle position and manifold pressure, obviously the nitrous creates a lot of gas flow through the turbine, which almost totally eliminates turbo lag.

Yup. Give me some money and don't get so greedy it destroys the crank and it can be done...

Can you run water injection or methanol?

Remember that a massive boost level isn't actually desireable, you want to flow gas, not just pressurise the manifold, with well flowing heads you'll need less boost for the same power increase, with less irreversibility in the blower so it'll sap less power.

THere was a guy from the states who supercharged his VFR800. That was a very tidy job, all the gear was hidden behind the fairing and looked close to factory fit.
