I think if you cover your plate and tax disc they can prosecute you for that, not parking illegally. If they remove the cover so that they can ID the bike to 'serve you', you can sue them for tampering with your property and on and on and on...

Also noticed that cars can legally park in 'Solo M/C' parking spaces out of hours - I am so glad I have seen that cos I have taken to parking my bike behind cars that do that and chaining it up so that they can't move it, effectively parking them in - can just see a ticket for double parking coming my way...

Nope, the heratige wardens will ask you why you have parked on trafalger square.

Trust me, I did it with Rictus' speed triple.

Dan
That's cus in the UK its illegal to park on the pavement, it just seems to get ignored by most people. But as the councils see parking fines as a nice cash cow its all getting clamped down on. So your only hope is park in a bay or remove your tax disk and number plate.

STOP BEING SO BLOODY DRAMATIC...why make a mountain out of a mole hill....bikes have been in Soho since the 70's and I can't believe that Westminster Council are any less or any more money grabbing now than they were then so I doubt much has changed.

The wardens will turn up and they will blitz the place for a while and then they will go and the bikes will come back as will the coppers who stop for a coffee and everyone will be happy again.....are you lot really going to be the first group to roll over and play dead? Get a back bone!

Stick with it Jonboy, this could be a hard fight without any support!

Sorry for the rant but please.....stop moaning!!!

you going to pay our tickets then?

as for what youre saying that is as maybe but if theyre in the mood for another blitz then all I was suggesting is an alternative for the time being while theyre in blitz mode. stop overdramatising what I was saying.

Can't help the occasional stir....do think that if you stick with it you will win.....only move when they do threaten tickets....

so that'll be the National Gallery then, not the Tate

Like I said, Get me near a gallery and I might accidently pick up some culture... Not exactly one for Art Galleries so I do get them mixed up

Hey I'll keep turning up to Soho as long as people are there to chat with.

Not this week though, got an old Uni mate coming to stay!

little tip when parkin your bike in a leagal or not leagal place.

put a bag or tape or sumin over your plate and tax disc

all a warden can do it put a tax sticker on your bike as they can not touch your bike or remove anythink
