Only a girl could say that!! I'm intrigued to know how having his nads removed makes a dog happier? (or a bloke for that matter!)

My lads both still intact and no problems yet. The old boy is 15 next month, so is doing OK.

what i meant was that it must be kinda frustrating for a dog with balls to be prevented from shagging

My dog got castrated c. 15 years ago, and he very nearly bled to death - turned out he was a haemophiliac! He was on life support thing at the vets!

Our vet got a damn good telling off by the big animal centre authority in Bristol for not realising that dogs of his colouring and breed (bassett hound) were prone to it. Consequently, we weren't charged for his extensive treatment.

Anyway, he recovered, after having to wear a pair of my dad's pants for a week so he couldn't disturb his wounds.

Sam... I'm sure Lupo will be just fine - it very very routine, as you have said.
