Crikey! Sounds like it's totally her fault no matter whether you were filtering or not - she pulled out and the road wasn't clear. Glad to hear there's nothing broken (except the bike) but be sure to take it easy for a few days! I hope you manage to get the claim sorted and work something out with the bike...

thanks guys! its nice to know bikers care for each other (so i keep telling my m8s) even the bike garage who picked my bike up were great too. Also a great thanks to the paramedics that turned up for being nice n keeping me laughing through the pain (They also encouraged me to keep biking!)

You might just want to give some thought as to how you are going to explain not seeing that driveway and the corresponding gap in the traffic you were overtaking. Matter of interest was there anything coming the other way? I'm not suggesting it isn't the car drivers responsibility to look both ways and make sure it is clear, but it is a bit of an obvious crash waiting to happen and any solicitor acting for the car driver is going to lay that on thick.....

nothing coming the otherway tbh it was just near the roadworks so i was looking at the junction before, n presumed the gap was where cars had stopped for the lights

I'm currently battaling out a filtering claim. Sounds just like yours - the most painful bit was hitting the tank then my mirror (and snapping it) with my balls

Sorry to hear your news . Just watch for when the adrenaline wears off as you may find you hurt in other places too

As said before make sure you write everything down as you remember it so you don't forget. I hope you get your bike sorted out soon and can claim off her. Foxy

condescending bitch, i'd bend her over and rape her for everything she's got after a comment like that, stupid arrogant cow could have easily killed someone and she's thinking of going after the person she blindly drove out into!!!
