Stripping DRM was mentioned on the Gadget Show last night with no mention of it being illegal.

It's illegal in the US. I don't think that it is here. iTunes is getting a lot more DRM-free tracks now anyway.

No, with DRM you are just renting it until they say you cant play it any more.

Well it did with a couple of music stores run by a couple of small companies that you may have heard of, Microsoft and Yahoo.

Now maybe some people will understand my anti-DRM viewpoint.

The reason I asked for help with an iPod is... I've got an iPod. I don't care if it's rubbish/a con/gives me smaller willy waving rights. It's what I've got.
