to the op
right minimum requirements are
one radio, one power supply, one swr (a wee box for tuning) and a antenna (a areil can only recive signals not send****) after that you can buy lots of stuff to boost signal distance and clarity eg burners sidebands and masts (yes you can buy your own mast)

OMG CB's were great when I first started driving and used to do deliveries. Very handy when you needed directions.

Great memories

Huskey if you are ever near Brechin, I noticed last week that the Sracathro service station/truck stop was selling CB stuff.

Just a bit! Passed my M1 licence then done the morse to get full M0.. (MM0 for up here) the year before they started giving them out in lucky bags! My wife done the mini licence a few years back M3 class.. lets you use all the big toys with 10w limit. Quite effective on a 20m monoband beam

I have one kicking about in the garage, considering fitting it in the van to not feel like too much of a c*** when slipstreaming trucks down the Mway to save fuel!

Likely to be any use?
