You could do the same with just a plate covering the frame and motor with the carbs stuck up through it, make sure it's sucking from around the tank rather than up through the rad.

or just heat shield under carbs and closing front, which is what I do.
btw.few years back they did test on ram airs and none was that great with Kawi actually working best.

That was my plan, the HRC manual says to use polypropylene which I've got a sheet of for the track NC35 and there is plenty of it for both.

You can work out what the actual pressure boost from mere air speed would be with bernoullis equation, figure that out, you would need a big scoop increasing the velocity of the air for it to be just the "ram" effect.

Maybe it is reducing the pressure at the stagnation point that increases top speed, not the power increase to the engine.

Who knows? Is most bike drag parasitic drag or pressure drag?
