after primer I've always dusted black over and cut it back to the primer with 1200, that way all your imperfections and hairline scratches show up black and easily spotted....... maximum quality finish

yeah dusting black over the primer is known as a guide coat and is primarily used to show, high/low spots in primer.

Anyway heres some pics as promised, for some reason I can't get onto photobucket so heres a few I have got elsewhere.

More seriously, a few logos added (transfers/laquer?) and a right good clean of the rest of the bike will complete it and should make it look very impressive indeed.

If I ever get the funds to give my own bikes the paint they deserve, I could be in touch.

I am going to get some suzuki stickers added to the tank again because it's a bit plain for me then I'll re clear the tank.

I specialise in bike painting, my friend has opened a new motorcycle repair/ service workshop in Milton keynes, I do all bike paint stuff in there from frames to complete jobs, I got my bike done quick when I moved in to almost help advertise.

I was watching Wheeler Dealers on Discovery the other night where the mechanic was buff the paiting using the electric mop & a bucket of water to dip the mop. I couldn't help thinking electricity & water, not a good combination

You appear to be doing the same

Aha I've finally managed to get photobucket working so I'll put a few more pics here

Undertray painted and test fitted, before flatting and polishing.

partial back end during refit and polishing

rear sides, polished ready for refit

front nose painted before polish and refit

seat cowl painted before polishing

front side in the booth just after paint application, not yet polished

and finally for now the other front side, again just after paint but before polishing

opinions welcomed
