Yes but if not waterproof wet phone, wallet ect. Zip lock bags are useful, but tbh its just a lot easier and more comfy to get gortex gear.

I have a back pack which fits all the stuff I need in, otherwise I can add tank bag.

I amazed I rode to work with with my pockect unzip with my ID and cell was in there great move eh Thats why I have cheap phone which well doesn't work too well!

Either one piece, or two piece which zip togther all the way around. Plus lid, gloves and boots.

It also depends what shape you are. If you're a regular shape you've got a fair chance of getting into a one-piece suit.

I went shopping for leathers at the weekend and discovered that if you've got short legs, a long body and plenty of natural insulation you have zero chance of getting into a one-piece suit. So I'm now the owner of a set of IXS two piece leathers.

thanks all for the response to this thread it has been interesting to read different points of view on this subject: anyway i went to the shop to look at and try on leathers for size and got great help and explanation on how and why they should fit,and i ended up walking out £400 lighter and the proud owner of a 1 piece moto gp kangaroo leather suit which is a lot lighter than the standard leather hide that is used.
also someone mentioned that wearing leathers can make you feel more confident, this i found to be true probably because my mind was more relaxed knowing that i was now more protected than i ever have been!!!

Whether this is good or bad is another question. I've never grudged having a healthy dislike of sliding along the floor on my rse.

"whats that skippy, you want to sacrifice your life to prevent road rash?"

Great stuff.

Just look after them and they will last you ages.
