I hang mine on the mirror, I thought that's what everyone did. The floor is not a good place for a helmet to be when I am around even if it is on gloves. I can guarantee as soon as anyting valuable is near my 2 left feet it will be booted down the road within seconds.

So where do people put their gloves? I normally shove mine in my helmet, but if put my helmet over the mirror, they don't fit. And resting them on the seat doesn't work if it's windy.

Tuck the gloves behind the screen, stick em in the lid on the mirror or put them under the seat.

None of which are any use to you lol

Well heres my theory for what its worth,

Lids should be replaced if dropped from what I am led to believe, I understand this is due to the internal protection compressing with the impact and the outer skin rebounding leaving a gap between. If an impact was sustained in the same place there is much less protection. (I am really no expert I admit)

If they are already on the floor despite the orientation and any scratches they may get and wildlife in them they cant be physically dropped.

I would rather wear a wet/dirty lid home as opposed a dropped one i guess . . that just me ?

Just made me think as a few seem to hang on mirrors, lie on seat etc and at the price of a lid, or yer heed for that matter im not sure.

Hanging off the pillion footrest, or if I stop for any length of time - the hooks under the back seat. Although it often sits on the seat temporarily. My helmet has been dropped about a zillion times in the two years I've had it. Still better than no lid though....

Gloves on ground, lid placed on top of them if stopping for a quick snout.
In top box if it looks like rain or I'm away from bike
