Thanks all.

I have calmed down now and I am thinking straight again (as much as possible!)

I have a vague rememberance that I was in the inside lane signalling right and then I made my way to the outside lane of the roundabout without looking. So I am quite happy with my fail now (well the reason anyway not so much the fail)

In a way I am happy that I failed for just one thing and not a load of minors.

My instructor will take me around again before the next test day.

Thanks for all your thoughts and help

You should be more than slightly nervous right now.

You have had an invitation to visit Mr DavePreston. Even if he does think you are a lad.

These invitations are not given out lightly. involve removal of thinking head and fitting of lager replacement head.

You do remember what it feels like to have a working liver. Hold onto that thought you may need to remind your liver of its purpose in life.

and if you like girly drinks like woo woo, Paul the 6th will be at Preston's to show you how to drink like a girl

My liver has not worked for a long time!
Was filling in my organ donor application form and was wondering what bits of me will actually be any use!!!

Sorry to hear about the test. But as you said its better to have only failed on one thing that is easier done/changable than on many things.
Good luck in the re-take

Doh sorry to hear about your test dont know if this will help but when i took my first test i hit a hole in the road (drain cover missing) at 60 somersaulted twice and ended up in a hedge with a cracked wrist, torn shoulder blade muscle and two broken ribs passed second time though after my ribs had healed and was a bit of a celebrity at the test centre as i was the first to crash on test
