Page 45 was an obituary which seemed a little inappropriate so I turned to page 46, and an article written by Nasser Hussain who used to be my boss:

Credit must first go to Andrew Strauss and Andy Flower. The attitude became 'If you are going down, then play some shots in the process'.

Hm, could be an interesting year as Strauss is a colleague and Flower has been one of my closest friends for a very long time!

Which sounds promising except I doubt there is a hidden meaning as its from a book about Bomber Command.
