Around 150psi I think,
Timing is definitely correct, even checked the compression cam settings weren't on the exhaust stroke, which did nothing.
Fuels around 2 months old.

Ok, can you describe exactly what procedure you followed to verify the timing is set correctly?

'F' mark on the timing inspection hole for front tdc, set cams using the correct markings
(can't remember them off by heart) but verified with Haynes.
Turned over 360 degree to 'F' for rear at 90 degree atdc, set cams as per Haynes. Turned over by hand and all was as should be.

if the timing is set correctly (taking your word for it but I'm suspicious ) then I would be suspecting fuel delivery or coil connections. I'm pretty sure that the plugs fire twice, both on the compression and exhaust strokes on this model so less likely to be wrong connection of coils/plug leads.

Fuel injectors though.... are they delivering fuel on the correct stroke. Do you have them connected the wrong way around, is that even possible. Cant remember but the connectors may only allow the correct orientation. Worth checking that.

Do you have a good strong battery to give a healthy spark? If not hook up a car battery with jump leads.

If the carbs have been sat with 2month old fuel in they 'may' do with a clean.
Fuel can separate within a week or so and as this thread was started in March I would assume the bike has been stationary with the same fuel in it for at least 3 months.
Also have you re-charged the battery? if its had a few months of sitting out it may be giving crappy CCA.

its a pointy, no carbs. 2 month old fuel should be fine, unless it was put in 2 months ago from a jerry can thats been in the garage for 2 years

They can only be connected one way.
I may order some new plugs just to be safe.
I will try the car battery too just to be sure.

It's throttle bodies on this model, but I'll give some fresh fuel a go
