I try not to do anything at work, but things like a steam cleaner is something I don't have at home. I have just bought this little puppy though My mates dad was selling it on Facebook (what a wonderful invention) £50 the mask is a battery operated, light reaction one & the bottles are full, I couldn't believe my luck

Cheers for that. We have a load of friends that race Steelies & I haven't heard of any problems on CCTs. For the amount of miles this is going to do I'll probably leave it

After a recommendation from a friend I bought one for about £25 a bit like this from ebay:

Ebay linky.

Works fine, the one I bought was advertised as 'various colours', I'm still not a skilled welder by any means, but mine is a nice blue with natty hot rod flames up the sides, so now I am very cool* when I'm welding, and my face is on view less often - which is probably for the best.

*not.

Buy yourself 5 litres of Wonder Wheels from Costco and give it a good going over with that. Brings alloy in that state up a treat
