Think I am deciding on a Experia SP. The Z and Z1 do look awesome, but the main thing I want is reliability, robustness and price while still "Professional" looking (with a couple of features like bluetooth, music and sat nav). Which ruled out the lumias, too many colours. I think the SP is the lowest end of the experia 4G phones. And its waterproof.

There's a case that has a backup battery and it uses the external change port.
Now I was thinking I could adapt it to a powered mount and use it on the bike. There's anti reflective screen protectors.

LG have a new phone out called G2.
The screen looksrecommend. ly fan-tastic. Mskes my Samsung Galaxy S3 look like dirt.
also supposed to have good battery life. Not sure if battery is replaceable.
Personally. I only go with phones you can take battery out of.
2 reasons as batteries lose charge over time and if it bricks.
LG not sure about but HTC even more not sure.
Motorola Moto G look super for the money but its not 4G and that is all the rage so my next phone has to be 4G compatible.
To be honest my S3 has been excellent and heartily recommend. Batrery life is poor though.

LG G2 battery is from what the chap in the shop said not removable.
It's lacking a SD card slot too.
So go for the 32gig one if you like to take pics and use it as a. Mp3 player

Not getting a new phone until July and by then, the G2 will be stone age obsolete.
But the screen is probably the best I've seen on a smartphone.
Its better than real life!

Im really happy with my G2, does everything and more that I want from a smart phone, once you get used to having no buttons it makes sense, double tap to wake it up and time it out etc and it is fast as f***

The camera is excellent, with really good settings and built in effects.

The downside is as said are no access to the battery and no SD slot, so Im stuck with about 10Gb or so of empty space, not the end of the world though as it holds a load of music and pics.

Little things I like are the way it flashes when you have a notifications, just a small green flashing light, saves constantly checking the phone.

Battery life is 2 days from fully charged with normal use but it charges really quickly which is excellent, an hour on charge and you have over 70%.

But for me the untimate thing I discovered yesterday was setting it up as a TV remote, made my day, no more looking for the Virgin remote just need to sync it with the rest of the TV`s in the house and no-one is getting a look in.

I`ve had it almost a month now and am really happy, lets see how it lasts, especially the battery.

The G2 looks fine and the extended battery life is a bonus.
Tbh the Galaxy S3 is all the phone you'll ever need.
Only because when I get a phone it has to be best shiny new stops me getting another.
But a nice shout out for the G2 there. Hopefully by July something even better out there.
