Fat Bstard! (Sorry, could not help myself!) If thats the case, then he is probably right about the SV as the power to weight ratio and handling will be fooked with him on its back!

True what somebody said, different bikes push different buttons.
How very true, those statements.

I'm a die hard 2-stroker. I love the screaming sound, the way you have to work the gears, the flickability, the way you never want to hit the brakes just to keep those revs up, the way you turn circles around litre bikes in the twisties, ... Therefore I'm the happy owner of an Aprilia RS250.

BUT ...

I wasn't happy with the practical side. Because of it's revvy nature, the Aprilia just hates traffic and commuting. Therefore i bought a nice new SV650S K3. In the beginning, I wasn't very passionate about the SV. To me, it was just a practical (and reliable) way to get to work. But it grew on me. The more i drove it, the more i started to love it. So much that i diverted hard-earned funds to the SV for some tuning (which the SV really needs to fully enjoy it) like braided brake lines, reworked forks and good tyres.

Now the Aprilia is my track and sunday trash bike, and I'm enjoying every minute on my SV for the rest of the week.

A very valid point. Thing is he didnt really behave himself in the For Sale section, thats the point I care about. Try and sell your bike, then when its gone slag it off. Nice attitude, whatever its about. Anyhow, thats old news and I missed it so just trying to get my 2p in
