I've always believed that NASA sent men to the moon but this website made me think. Is it bs? Dunno.

This site even claims that NASA sent a craft to the moon a few months previous in order to use it to transmit false telemetry at the time of the "landing".

I'd be pretty narked if I found out they truly didn't get to the moon - after I spent all my pocket money on Airfix kits, souvenirs and moon maps etc etc as a child - not to mention staying up til some stupid time in the morning to watch actors dance around in slow motion.

And what's he up to???
Bright as a button, up with the clangers...

COOKING UP SOME FREAKING SOUP WITH A MASSIVE CHEESEY GRIN ON HIS CHOPS.
THATS what he's doing.

Just cant buy that with Euros so you cant.

Well...a couple of points.

Jodrell Bank was able to track something transmitting radio going to the moon, on the moon and coming back from the moon exactly the same time as Apollo 11.

The Astronauts left mirrors on the surface of the moon and some geezer types can bounce lasers off them to measure distance of the moon and moon quakes.

Moon rocks are from er....the moon and cannot be replicated on earth. Top geologists have checked them out.

No telescope can see anything of the Apollo landings as they are too small.

Now...David Scott...Apollo 15...He was done over like a kipper by the 'Stamp scandal' and his career and good name ruined. Even today some little scamp always asks if he has stamps for sale... Now wouldn't be easier if he just came out and said the whole thing was a fake? What could he lose?

What really bugs me is this...Apollo 12 Commander Pete Conrad died in a motorcycle accident in 1999. The Eejits say he was killed by NASA because he was about to say the whole thing was a fake. You couldn't make it up.

True. In Marvel comics, radiation does turn everyone into Superheroes instead of killing them.
Well the spider that bit me was radioactive so there cpould be something in that.

And Northy..... i knew what you were on about with the invisible/bendy/burny stuff mate. It wasnt that obscure to the intelengent amongst us

philipMac, if I had some sort of award to give out for funniest post, it'd be yours.

Well I am not too convinced thay have ever been there. My gut feeling is they have never been there. Maybe some robots or so to get rocks or sand from the moon but men? Never.

If they did there would be 10 x 10 miles big american flag on the moon for all the world to se it.

Few years ago they were convincing the world that Sadam had nuclear weapon. Couldn't get this right so do we honestly believe they landed on the moon?

Sad thing is, we will never know!

Princess Diana works in my local Sainsburys

There is a camera shot of Armstrong walking down the ladder taken from on board.

the footage shown all the time was done later with armstrongs original words dubbed over the top.

I pity the bloke who went all that way and stayed in the capsule (john collins, quiz fans) like going to a brothel and not.......

in a studio, in california. all of it.

you haven't seen me, right?

In all of this the conclusive proof that America did not land on the moon is that there is still no Macdonalds or K-Mart there! What more proof do you need?

Michael Collins.

If you look at the Nixon administration then they did lie to people. Over Vietnam, over watergate.

And the stuff about WMD in Iraq...but these were all found out and the 'moon hoax' is still the stuff of internet chaff.

The NASA guys are now in their 60s...i'm sure a whistleblower could top up his pension with a few choice words...but it hasn't happened.

The reason that the yanks went to the moon has nothing to do with science or exploration or even the moon.

Apollo 8 astronaut Bill Anders said the only reason was because 'Farmers in Iowa hated commies!' It was just a part of the cold war sabre rattling. That is why there are no McDonalds on the moon...beat the commies, job done.

Another thing...some UFO believers say that UFOs were seen on the Apollo flights. Now one conspiracy theory reinforces another. Sigh

Basket....Even if they did not have the technology to get to the moon in the 60's,I can assure you that "ways" of brainwashing people to believe totally what was to be played out before them were available.

That really is NOT beyond the realms of possibility and so removes the whistle blower scenario.

Let it go folks we were all wide eyed fools spellbound by tricks played with lights, mirrors and cameras!
