I get about 7.5k to the rear Z6, more on the front. Usually the profile is beggered before tread depth.
Not 100% sure,
I have done 2k since the change and they are still looking brand new. I would say 5k-6k max the way i ride.
But then i push it alot

Me too, when it's safe to.

The figures for Z6's were my last pair, which were winter time commuters, lots of straight line motorway stuff.

Summer time I play in the twisties a lot more, and I don't mind about tyres sliding through corners, so long as the feedback is good enough.

Even riding on hail stones/ice/snow I felt pretty comfortable on the Z6's.

TBH i dont think there is a right and wrong tyre, its down to personal preference. If you are happy with Z6 stay with em

Ah, but there it is ya see. Maybe there is something better out there for me, and I haven't tried it yet. If I don't have these discussions I'll never know will I?

Milage is a trade off with grip. Z6's are good for the winter milage, but maybe something else might be good for the summer time.

Always willing to experiment, and I can come back to the Z6's later if I want

I got Azaro AV45(f) and AV46(r) on mine Baph, so you can check em out if we ever manage to hook up. These are now superseeded by ST-Storms (AV55/AV56 would you believe?) and appear to be even better than the Azaros from what I hear.

FWIW I rate the Azaros higher than stock Metz Z4s, stock Dunlop 204 (I think on my VFR) and Bridgestone BT020 (on the VFR).

When I had my SV I found the Azaros worked very well for me and my riding style, the rear went off and required changing in less than 4K but it was better than the OEM 220 Dunlops.

Great tyre for the SV IMHO, if the STorm ST is better then that would be what I'd go for.

Exactly my thoughts

I have BT020's currently and am very happy with them. I read all the opinions on here and always wonder what if the Z6 is better, what if the road attack is better, what if........ There's only one way to find out so I wil probably try Z6's next, or should I try........... aaaarrrrrgggghhhh!

I'll read al these posts again in about 3000 miles time!
