Hope y'all dont mind a junior poster joining in the posting fun...
I had a Honda NS125RR... It was in poor nick, but it done me till i passed my test. When I got my SV i took the wee honda to bits to "fix her up" when i wasn't on the SV... 1 year later i gave said bits to the local youth motor project... I swear I seen it in their skip ![]() |

BSA C12 250 single was the first ever in 1970 - still have the log book! You could ride an unrestricted 250 with L plates and without a helmet with only masses of hair blowing in the wind to save your brain; it was good though!
A succession of classics followed, with Honda CB77, BSA 650 Road Rocket with sidecar gearing that gave fantastic accelaration but top speed of about 70! Suzuki T500 - manic! Sensible bikes followed such as a BMW 100/7 and Kawasaki GT750, so it's great to be back with something (even slightly) sporting like the SV650S ![]() |

Mine was a bright and shiney little Yamaha RXS125 in red that my Mum arrange to get for me!
She was sick of giving me a lift to work so paid the deposit (I had to pay the rest). 6 Months later a car slammed into my side in my 'Big Bad' accident and Mum then promptly arrange for the purchase of a little Mini instead. Needless to say, my purchase a year later of a DT 125 resulted in my eviction from the family home. Final victory was mine though - my brother (the 'Golden Child') completed his DAS a couple of years ago... ... resulting in the most priceless comment from my Dad "Well, I guess we can't have a go at you now can we." ![]() Last edited by K; 08-04-07 at 07:35 AM.
