seee curvy is a majority vote, unfortunatly i have had to bump start my curvy, and with my dad on it started first attempt, and ran lovely all the way home and started fine the next day.

Matt, a couple of things:
1. I'm telling Maria what you just called her
2. I have bump started my pointy with a flat battery. It's not as easy as a carb, granted, but it is possible (and so long as the reg/reg & alternator are working it'll continue to run).
3. Carb icing and starting in general on frozen mornings.

Done it regularly when my battery was knackered. Fortunately I have a long steep hill just outside work

Curves are good in the right place, but you need a couple of points at least...
