Blimey they must contract out as far as i'm aware the AA aren't over here :P.

Newts don't drive up the central reservation and we'll be fine.... and mattblackone has got months to sort his charge on the bike out

more importantly perhaps, does insurance? Aren't they outside of the uk?
(Again I reckon it's down to each policy but worth tinking about)

Yeh also one thing i'll mention due to knew rules between iom and uk the steam packet strongly recommend health service insurance or w/e it's called... despite riding a bike over there all time i never bother . waste of time... insurance isn't however do find out.

Sounds interesting

I like Fizzwheels idea, makes the distance/journey worth while (almost once in a lifetime trip)

I would suggest you need to keep clear of the AR and the GMIII (Ecossse) meetings, both events tend to be on most agendas, so early like you are planning fits (I think).

What's the weather like then? SNOW/TORRENTIAL RAIN might help with tent or not to tent. Bunkhouses, B&B's also good but cheap and cheerful.

Thanks

well i go over in jan and its coldish but bearable and still good on the track er road er main road er whats that officer theres no speed limit here
fizz's idea is the premise for the trip (he just put it better than me ) so if that sounds like your cup of tea come

Well it's 4-5 weeks before tt so not that bad.... the isle of man really is unbelivablely hard to predict.... consider it not far of uk's weather tbh, just more extremes i.e. windier, hotter, colder, snowier, rainier, sunnier.... you get the point.

And yeh thats why i put it when i did seemed to fit best with the org's current lineup of meets, would have preffered later in year don't see how'd we'd fit it though because of tt/mgp/ar/gm.

I'm there - "Trailer caravans are not permitted on the Isle of Man, without a permit. However, self-propelled motor caravans are welcome, as are tenting campers."

Does it get any better?

Correct, i love this rule, only exception seems to be one or two at tt and mgp i.e. racers trailers in the paddocks.
