Cleaning it, and getting ready to store it for winter.

Hunting GSXR bits on the bay.

nobbylad may still have some for sale

nobbylad: that sucks, you can get an adapter from the sv racing parts guy I think or you could get a piece and rod and make one oyuself but you'd need a tap and die set but it's unlikely your tap & die set would have a reverse thread bit aswell.

Just sold my GSXR front end ('twas mint as well ), still have an SRAD top yoke and some clipons though, see the For Sale section.

I have a tap and die set, don't think it has a reverse thread bit. I can get the shift rods from anywhere, it's the rose joint with either a hole for a bolt or a threaded stud that I'm struggling with.

ahh, I see.

Just finished my front brakes, not tried em out yet but can feel the difference in the lever. Doing the plugs today might interfere with pub time (I hate faired bikes)so reckon that's a job for next weekend. Chain adjustment & tyre pressures & I'm done.

Look longingly at in under cover in the garage and wish that in 3 weeks time I wont feel guilty going for a ride leaving my youngest behind cos he'll have passed his CBT(fingers crossed) and be out with me
