Hopefully I will have a garage or somewhere undercover so this might actually be a reality.

A cheaper bike might help persuade me to have a go or my old SV back as I was familiar with that and knew a great place to get help and advice on any issues...now what was the name of that website?

What something like this will cope with the commute?

...and be reliable?

Now that I am interested in!

So I guessing a fairing that actually does something would help, as would a bit of power to get out of the way of stuff.
I did my test on an ER-5 with a Fabbri screen and it didn't seem at all windy compared to my 125. How fast do you really need to ride to work? And get out of the way of stuff? Where is he going to work, Kabul?

I think the O.P. agrees you, I still insist on arguing the toss anyway!

Until the collector box dies. Which by now most will have.

I'd say a Deauville or something like a CB500 or maybe an old CBF600.

If we're talking motorway miles, my old CBR600F did the job well, £1000 for one of them and they are fun fun fun.

Compare it to a 125, then compare it to a teapot, or a dullville, or any other bike!

I get more discomfort cos of wind blast from my GPZ500S than I do from naked SV650.
