So been to the shops and found myself a nice pair of Held gloves, padded and with a fab visor wiper I must add! They do fit me better and my fingers are not pushed into the end of the glove so happy about that. Didn't need breaking in either, so comfy!

However I got the tingling again And today I experienced a new sort of tingling (only after riding for 45 mins too :S), "Tuning Fork Syndrome" I shall call it. 'Cos that's what it feels like! In both hands, it lasted for about 20 mins once off the bike and it felt just like the weird vibrations you can feel when you bang a tuning fork...not good!

Clearly just not used to it I suppose. But I am riding the SV pretty much every day so hopefully in time it may subside. As I play about with positioning on the bike too and maybe check everything's "aligned" as Dizzy says.

Bananaman, those grip wraps look a good idea. Going to get some more hot grips this week as they are what I've been used to using so will see if that makes any difference with them being heavier than the current grips I have.

This is a serious suggestion - try filling the bars with fine sand or a long heavy spring. That may damp out the high frequency vibrations you're getting at the bars. I know a lot of Bandit 1200 owners used to do just this with things called a bar snake because they suffered as well.

You won't go wrong with Held gloves, they really are very good quality. In my bike kit wardrobe I've got four or five pairs of them for different uses, but my Bagiras are my everyday ones and probably my favourite pair of gloves ever

It may have been mentioned before but make sure your sleeves and gloves are nice and loose, I had this problem when i had a pointy, I found I was doing my gloves up too tight so when my hands were on the grips, it was reducing blood supply to them.

With Lozzo here, bandit 600 suffer from the same with the renthal flat bars.
Expanding builders foam also work remarkably well, that's all my mate did with his

Well 2 months later and I am having problems with stitching AGAIN. It's always the blumin' velcro tabs that go first. And one of the little metal motif thing has fallen off, not that that exactly has an important function Now yes I have been wearing them near enough every day since bought but why does every pair of women's gloves I get not last? Do they think women are only ever pillions and don't ride?

I think I have a warranty on them but I can't find details of it anywhere...anyone help me out? They're a great glove but I don't want to have to take them back to be told they've had excessive wear and it's not therefore valid

As for the tingling, I don't suffer with it now at all. Unless I've been on a very long ride in which case it's kind of expected.

Not so much a tingle...more of a numbness. And it's not *always* in my hands.

Yes, but it's a disconcerting sensation when the feeling comes back...

MY little finger and the one next to it tend to get sore on my right hand. Dunno if it's anything to do with braking with two fingers. No tingles though.

I get a pain in my right thumb, at the knuckle nearest where it joins onto my hand. Normally goes away after a few hours but can last for several days. Weirdly, didn't happen on the old 2-stroke 125 which had much buzzier handlebars then the SV.
