Can you get access to saw or dremel a slot in the screw? You can then use a flat bladed screwdriver to get them out. Cut the slot as deep as you can into the head of the screw.

Tried the cutting a slot with jnr hack saw but couldn't get deep enough, will try borrow a dremmel.
Last time I tried to drill something out it was a snapped bleed nipple, that didn't go well as the new nipple just leaked and I had to get a new caliper off Mr Husky

If you drill the head off and leve the shank you can sometimes get moles on it.
Get a quality screwdriver.it helps allot and soaking with viniger when its in allot helps too.

I don't know if I did a right thing, but I bought a 1/2in socket set than no one recommended here. I went to motorist discount shop in Newbury and spotted nice set reasonably priced and I didn't think twice. Any one heard about Kamasa tools?? Anyone have them?? what do you think.
Ps Main thing that convinced me to buy it was 72 teeth ratchet. http://www.kamasa.co.uk/item.aspx?cat=465&item=5254 ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I've had them for over 20 years, not rusted or worn out with plenty of use in that time So +1 to Tim's comment

Kamasa have certainly been around for a long time, assuming the name hasn't just been "passed around" different owners so to speak. My Dad has a socket set by them, must be 20yrs of occasional use by now, it's fine.
