If the bike suites you (sir) then go for it. You have ridden them both and in my opinion are taking the wise step of trying other bikes of a similar type. If the bike fits go for it. You have enough sense to respect what it can do and the SV should have restored your road craft somewhat. Noob (or BAB) on a CBR, why not, just use that stuff between your ears and you'll be fine.

In a nut shell, different peeps prefer different bikes, go for the one that suites you. Everyones comments are valid but it's your decision. Have fun making it.

Agree. SV'dd - As long as you take in and bear in mind the comments here, I'm sure you'll enjoy whichever bike you choose.
