Dainese leather airbag suit here

Its probably been said but i couldn't be bothered to trawl through al the posts but as far as i see it the sliding part isn't a problem.
its the stopping suddenly. i would have like to seen the test rider put his faith in it and hit a wall at that speed something make me think he wouldn't. ok so the air would act as a progressive cushion slowing you down at a slower rate possibly saving you from major bruising but still if you hit a wall at 30mph whats gunna stop you internal organs at a progressive rate. i lost a friend two years ago he hit a pot hole whilst cranked over lost the front and slid into a dry stone wall. dead at the scene. coroners report showed no damage to any bones no breaks or anything but the the force of his heart hitting his rib cage tore his artery off. maybe been short sighted but id rather stick with my leathers and back protector and rib protector and hope im lucky enough that when i do have a spill i avoid anything solid. all the best MJP |
